Intex has launched a new budget Aqua-series smartphone, the Aqua Star II HD, that offers (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display.
The smartphone costs Rs 6,590 and is available in India via offline and online stores.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.
Inbuilt storage includes 8GB, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The Aqua Star II HD rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
The device gets its juice from a 2000mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time. It measures 142x71.5x8.95mm and will be available in Champagne, Silver, White, and Grey colours.
