New Delhi: Intex has launched a new mid-range smartphone, the Intex Aqua Power HD, at Rs 9,444.
The handset comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) ONCell IPS display and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core (MT6592M) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and is upgradable to Android Lollipop, says Intex.
Aqua Power HD features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and has a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Inbuilt storage includes 16GB that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
The highlight of the device is a 4000mAh battery that company claims can deliver up to 20 hours of talk time (unknown network) and 500 hours of standby time. Intex also says that the smartphone comes with smart charging and can be used for charging other devices with the OTG support.
Aqua Power HD is available in four colour options - White, Black, Blue and Grey.
