New Delhi: Intex has launched two new smartphones, the Aqua HD 5.0 and the Aqua Y2, at Rs 7,790 and Rs 5,190, respectively.
Intex Aqua HD comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 10-megapixel autofocus rear camera with an LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
The handset is fueled by a 2000mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 210 hours of standby time. It measures 140x71.9x7.9mm, and will be available in Black and Blue colours.
Whereas the Aqua Y2 sports a 4-inch WVGA IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Other features include 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage, expandable upto 64GB via microSD card, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and a 1400mAH battery.
The devices have been listed on the official site of the company. The company may soon announce these handsets in the coming days.
