New Delhi: iBall has launched two new Windows-based hybrid tablet PCs, the iBall Slide WQ149i and iBall Slide WQ149R, costing Rs 18,499 and Rs 19,999, respectively.
Both of them are 2-1 tablets, which mean that you can use them in tablet as well as laptop mode.
Though both the devices are essentially the same in hardware specifications, the iBall Slide WQ149i is a Wi-Fi only tablet and the iBall Slide WQ149R is Wi-FiƱG tablet. Additionally, both the devices are 3G ready via the 'Ultra Stick 3G' slot (to be purchased separately), and run on Windows 8.1.
iBall Slide WQ149R comes with a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280x800 pixels) IPS multi-touch display, and is powered by a Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.83 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. For storage needs, it offers 32GB of internal storage.
The tablet offers a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera for video calling needs. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB, Micro-USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and GPS for navigation.
The company is offering a free Microsoft Office 365 licence and 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage for one year.
Both tablets are hybrid devices and can be used as tablet by using bundled pogo-pin keyboard.
