New Delhi, July 23: Handset maker iBall has launched a new affordable Android smartphone dubbed the iBall Andi 4Di for Rs 5,999.
The iBall Andi 4Di has a 4-inch, 480 x 800p resolution capacitive touch display with IPS technology which offers users wide viewing angles. It is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 chip and 512MB of RAM. The onboard memory is at 512MB (only 150MB being user accessible), compensated by the embedded microSD card slot that allows for an additional 32GB of hoarding space.
The phone runs on Android v4.0. Connectivity options include 3G HSUPA, HSDPA, EDGE/GPRS GSM 900/1800MHz and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. Sticking to what appears to be the current dual SIM norm for low- to mid-range handsets, there are two integrated slots for accommodating SIM cards.
Other features include 5MP main camera with LED flash and VGA front lens, and a 1700mAh battery.
The company is offering a free Flip cover bundled with the handset. The phone will be available in two colors choices: Black and Silver and White and Chrome.
