New Delhi, Oct 16: Airtel and Huawei have launched India's first LTE smartphone, called Ascend P1 LTE. The price has not been announced so far but it is likely to be around Rs 30,000. The Huawei Ascend P1 LTE supports the TD LTE Network of Airtel which has rolled out in Kolkata, Bangalore and Pune so far.
The device features a 4.3 inch touch screen with 950 x 540 pixels. The display has been built using Corning's Gorilla II glass and Super AMOLED HD technologies.
The Ascend P1 LTE is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM 8960 dual-core processor and has 4 GB internal memory, 1 GB of RAM, and an external memory support of 64 GB. It also comes with a 8 megapixels auto focus camera with dual-LED flash rear-facing camera, with 30 frames per second picture quality, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
