New Delhi: HTC has launched a new mid-range smartphone, the Desire 826 smartphone in India at Rs 25,990. The device was unveiled at the CES 2015.
HTC Desire 826 features a 5.5 inch Super LCD 3 display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 with pixel density of 401ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The handset runs Android Lollipop 5.0 OS customised with HTC Sense UI on top.
The device comes with 16GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB using microSD card space. It sports 13-megapixel rear and front cameras. The Desire 826 also features BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. The smartphone is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.

The device competes against the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4 and Cyanogen's OnePlus One. HTC's official India website has currently listed the Desire 826 as “coming soon”.
For connectivity, HTC Desire 826 comes with dual-SIM slots and 4G compatibility.
