Hero MotoCorp, one of the largest auto manufacturers of India showcased its 11 products in the previous edition of the Auto Expo out of which only 3 made their ways to the streets.
The other products were left as concepts and that are now expected to be showcased in the next edition of the event.
Let's have a look at company's lineup and what it has to offer the fans this year at Auto Expo 2016.
1. Hero HX 250R
Powered by a 250cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that churns out 31bhp of power and a peak torque of 26Nm, Hero HX250R comprises of various attractive features such as sporty twin headlamp section, split step-up seats, LED tail lamp, lightweight alloy wheels, clip-on handlebars, dual disc brakes and many more.
The bike would make its way to the Indian market this year, as the launch was delayed due to EBR's (Hero's technology partner) bankruptcy. If launched, the HX250R would be priced around Rs. 1.5 lac.
2. Hero Hastur:
Showcased first in 2014, Hastur is coming back in the latest edition of the Auto Expo. Equipped with a 620cc, water-cooled engine, this naked machine offers a sheer delight to the eyes.
Previous expo was the last time, the bike was spotted and is now again making a comeback this season. The sharp design and raw looks make this machine deserved to be looked at the event.
Hero Hastur produces a maximum power of 78.9bhp, stated by reports flowing online.
3. Hero ZIR 150:
Making its debut in 2014 Auto Expo, this 150cc scooter turned heads to the Hero stands with its attractive styling and impressive features.
The scooter is equipped with a 150cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates 14.1bhp of power and a peak torque of 12.7Nm of torque.
It also claims to hit a top speed of 110kmph. Other features that come with this stylish 150cc scooter are twin projector headlamps, European styled padded seats, dual disc brakes, daytime running lights (DRL's) and digital-analog instrument cluster.
4. Hero Dare 125
Another scooter to be shown at Hero's corner at the Auto Expo is Dare 125. This stylish scooter gets its power from a 125cc, forced air-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 9.1bhp and peak torque of 9.5Nm.
Also, Dare 125 will come equipped with some interesting add-ons such as DRL's, dual tone body colors, LED tail light, fully digital instrumentation, textured seat, etc.
If launched, this 150cc scooter will be priced over Rs. 50,000.
5. Hero Passion iSmart:
The 111cc entry level iSmart was recently spotted testing and covering the final laps before the launch, which states that the company might bring this bike in the upcoming Auto Expo.
The 1100, four-stroke engine of this bike generates a maximum power of 8bhp and peak torque of 8.3Nm.
The bike would get the i3s technology similar to the Splendor iSmart that automatically shuts off the engine during idling and can start again while pulling the clutch.
6. Hero Super Splendor iSmart:
The new model Super Splendor iSmart would be the most powerful model of the Splendor series and it is expected to be displayed at the company's stall in the event.
If speculations are to be believed, the bike would come with 124.7cc engine along with i3s technology.
The design of this bike is expected to be similar to the younger variant Splendor iSmart and would carry a price tag above the current Super Splendor.
