New Delhi, Jun 6: Gold prices rose by Rs 126,or 0.40 per cent to Rs 30,137 per 10 grams in futures trade today, extending previous gains as speculators engaged in building positions, tracking a firming global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August rose by Rs 126, or 0.40 per cent, to Rs 30,098 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,900 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in far-month October contract traded higher by Rs 112, or 0.35 per cent to Rs 30,459 per 10 grams in 78 lots.
