Tata Safari Storme:
The Safari Storme is a face-lift to the existing model. The most visible change on the outside seems to be in form of a new honeycomb grille, projector headlamps and a 'power bulge' on the bonnet. On the back side, the model gets chrome-tipped twin exhausts along with half greyed-out tailgate with the spare tyre now placed under the SUV. The model is powered by a more refined and responsive 2.2 liter DiCOR engine that develops 142PS of power and 320Nm of torque. Other significant improvements include a shorter turning radius, disc brakes all round and ABS. The version is likely to get four-wheel-drive, with toggle switch which can be used on-the-fly. The car will compete against Mahindra Scorpio, Renault Duster and the Chevrolet Tavera and M&M SUV 500.
