New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of executive directors to nine public sector banks filling up vacancies which had not been filled since a long time.
Ravi Shankar Pandey, GM, Union Bank of India has been appointed ED of Syndicate Bank, while N K Sahoo, GM of Canara Bank has been appointed ED of Allahabad Bank.
R P Marathe, GM of Bank of Baroda has been appointed ED of Bank of India, while K Venkata Rama Moorthy, GM, Bank of Baroda has been appointed ED in the same bank.
Charan Singh, GM, Bank of India will take over as ED of UCO Bank, while Harideesh Kumar, GM of Vijaya Bank will be ED of Canara Bank.
Pawan Kumar Bajaj, GM, Bank of India has been appointed ED of Indian Overseas Bank, while Kishore Piraji Kharat, GM, Bank of Baroda will now be ED of Union Bank of India.
R C Lodha, GM, Union Bank of India has been appointed ED of Central Bank of India.
All these appointments in the payscale Rs 65,000-78,000 will be with effect from date of assumption of charge till their respective dates of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
