New Delhi: Handset maker Xolo has launched a new smartphone called Xolo Q2500 for Rs 14999. The smartphone comes bundled with a free flip cover and a USB OTG cable.
The Xolo Q2500 is a dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) device featuring a 6-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution, translating to a pixel density of 245ppi.
The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek (MTK 6582) processor powers the device, clocked at 1.3GHz with a Mali 400 - MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box; however, the official site claims that the device is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with BSI sensor, LED Flash, 1080p full HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device's camera app offers features such as scene detection, HDR, face recognition, Panorama and geo tagging.
It has 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity options. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which according to the official site can deliver up to 40 hours of talktime and 600 hours of standby time on 2G network. The Xolo Q2500 is available in Black colour variant.
