New Delhi: Ahead of Mobile World Congress 2014, famous tipster @evleaks has leaked a set of specifications for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2.
The model looks a lot similar to the current model Xperia Tablet Z. It has thin profile and thin bezels. It is now clear whether it will use metal in the new tablet or not.
The Xperia Table Z2 will come with a 10.1-inch Triluminos WUXGA (1920×1200 pixels) display, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, and 6,000mAh battery. The tablet will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Like the high-end Sony Xperia smartphones, this tablet too is expected to be waterproof and dustproof.
The recent leak is also in line with recent reports that claimed that the Xperia Tablet Z2 will be the slimmest tablet around and at 6.4mm surpasses last year's 6.9mm Xperia Tablet Z.
Sony will unveil the tablet alongside the flagship Xperia ‘Sirius' Z2 smartphone and the Xperia G mid-range device.
