New Delhi: Smartphones are capable of doing many things few thought possible just years ago: watch movies, surf Internet at amazing speeds, do amazing photography, run several applications at once, connect with other devices, and

No 4. HTC One

Besides amazing built, the HTC One is a good device that brings some of the latest software improvements using HTC's newly revamped Sense 5 user interface. Users can quickly switch apps without exiting to the home screen and looking for the app they just left. To use Multitasking on the HTC One, tap the home button twice and the screen will show up with your most recent running apps. To kill the app, tap and hold on an app.

The HTC One sports a 4MP Ultrapixel camera. These are basically larger-than-average pixels, which can collect a lot more light and then in turn produce much better looking photos. Its ability to capture low light images is exceptional while colour reproduction is outstanding. Along with the Ultrapixel camera comes a new feature called HTC Zoe, which takes 20 images whilst also recording a short three second video clip. This means you'll have a short clip (known as a 'Zoe') for social networks ad you can also drag through the video and pick a picture if you'd rather just send a still. This is perfect for capturing photos of pets or kids. To enable this feature, open the HTC One camera and tap the small camera icon on the left side of the screen. This will turn on HTC Zoe and show it at the bottom of the screen. Now just tap the shutter to take an HTC Zoe.

In addition, the HTC One can take a series of photos in burst mode to make sure you don't miss any of the action. Further, it also offers Sequence Shot - a dynamic montage of fast-moving action into a single photo that you can easily share with your friends, family and the world. After shooting a 3-second Zoe you can then select from up to five images to put into this image. You can also move along the Zoe timeline to capture different Sequence Shots from the same Zoe. A Zoe captures 20 still images in the 3-second capture.

HTC also offers its users a variable speed video. To do this, record a video with the slow-motion video mode enabled in the camera app's settings menu. Selecting the slow-motion mode means you can edit it to add dramatic impact by choosing a segment to slow playback by up to four times.

To do efficient multitasking, the HTC One comes with Power Saver mode. To dial-down the phone's appetite for power, you can choose any of these areas: CPU Power, Display, Vibration and Data Connectivity.

Also by using the pre-loaded HTC TV app, you can make your handset mimic a remote control, which means you'll never have to struggle down the back of the sofa to find that remote again.
Suppose you've downloaded lots of apps and games from the Google Play store and want an app. Instead of searching through the entirety of the phone's app drawer, simply tap the magnifying glass icon and type in the name of the app you're after.
