New Delhi: The smartphone market hit a milestone in 2013 with more than a billion shipped, and leading the pack was the Korean handset maker Samsung. In total, Samsung mobile phones accounted for 31.3 percent of sales, ahead of Apple`s 15.3 percent, according to the poll by market research and analysis firm IDC.
It is hardly a doubt that Samsung is dominating the Indian smartphone market with its huge range of devices which includes its best-selling Galaxy range, which almost fits every budget point in the country.
