Samsung unveils Galaxy Camera 2

New Delhi: Samsung has unveiled the successor of the Galaxy Camera - the Galaxy Camera 2. The upgraded camera offers new design, faster processor, double the RAM and storage, newer Android version and NFC connectivity.



The Galaxy Camera 2 comes with a 1/2.3" BSI sensor with 16.3 MP effective resolution. There is also 21x optical zoom lens and optical image stabilization. Other features shared by the two generations include a pop-up xenon flash and a dedicated AF light.

It has a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD screen, which runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. The internal storage has been raised from 4GB to 8GB in the new model, with microSD card support up to 64GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth.
