Nokia X vs Micromax Bolt A075: A comparison

New Delhi: Homegrown handset maker Micromax recently launched its latest Android phone, the Bolt A075, at Rs 6,499. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM, and features a 5.2-inch WVGA (480 X 800p) display. The device comes with a 2,200mAh battery and runs Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.On the other hand, Nokia X marks the entry of Finnish smartphone maker into the Android domain. What makes Nokia X exciting is a serviceable hybrid Android/ Live Tile experience wrapped in a handsome design. Powering the X is a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. The downside of Nokia X devices are they won't have access to Google's Play store or Google-specific apps like Gmail, Chrome, Maps, and others, and a lower RAM. Here's a comparison of these devices: Design and BuildMicromax Bolt A075 is a dual-SIM phablet with 5.2 inch display. It is a bar shaped smartphone that measures 151.7x81x10.8 mm and weighs 225 g. Nokia X is a monoblock smartphone that has same design and build language as the Asha series featuring a clean and minimalist look with amazing build quality. Though the X looks to have a unibody construction, it does have a removable back cover which encloses the sides completely leaving no gaps or cracks in the phone. The Nokia X is available in Black, White, Red, Green and Cyan and has a soft-touch matte finish for each of them. It has a bigger display, better camera and larger battery. So if you are looking for a better value-for-money proposition then obviously the phone becomes a good choice. On the other hand, if you are too keen to try out the first Android handset from Nokia then the phone is not bad either.
