Nikon says the D4S comes with improvements in areas such as autofocus performance, image quality, movie recording and so on over its predecessor. The Nikon D4S is a full-frame camera with a 16.2-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor similar to the Nikon D3S. It comes with an Expeed 4 image-processing engine, with a rated ISO range of 100-25,600. The camera has single-point AF, dynamic-area AF, 3D-tracking, auto-area AF and group-area AF. The company is promising a faster work flow during and after capture. In addition to shooting JPEGs, full size RAW and TIFF files, Nikon D4S has added a RAW SIZE S.
