Motorola to launch Moto G on February 5

New Delhi: Snapdeal has listed the Moto G smartphone on its website. The online retailer says the smartphone will be available in the third week of February. Motorola says it plans to launch the Moto



With Moto G, Motorola certainly looks to create a place for it in the mid-range smartphone market. The simple, stylish and highly functional Android smartphone brings in vibrant color options, decent spec sheet to ensure power and performance all on a budget price tag.

The Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch HD ‘edge-to-edge' display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, amounting to a pixel density of 329ppi, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. It runs on Android 4.3 and the company has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (Cortex-A7) processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM. It sports 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3-megapixel front shooter and a 2070mAh battery.

The smartphone competes against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and Nokia Lumia 1320.
