New Delhi: The launch of Motorola's Moto G smartphone in India is proving to be a good bet for the online retailer Flipkart. There has been tremendous response from online shoppers to the launch with the 16GB version being sold out in the first 15 minutes, and another set of 16GB variant, offered at noon, also ran out of stock within the hour.
Estimated figures suggest that Motorola was able to sell nearly 20,000 units without hours of its debut. This figure could be much higher now. And unsurprisingly, less than 24 hours after its launch, there were 1,160 ratings and 746 reviews for the 8GB variant at the Flipkart website.
