New Delhi: Handset maker Micromax is likely to launch its Android One-based smartphone on Monday. The handset will be exclusively available via e-commerce website Snapdeal. The phone is likely to cost between Rs 6,000-7,000.
It may be recalled that Google had showcased Android One running on a Micromax smartphone.
Reports suggest the device will come with a a 4.5 inch HD display and a quad core processor. Other features include removable back, 1750 mAh battery, dual-SIM connectivity, microSD slot, 1GB of RAM, 5MP camera, quad-core processor. The smartphone will be upgradable to the Android L.
It is notable Google has tied up with the likes of Micromax, Karbonn and Spice to launch Android One-based smartphones.
