New Delhi: Micromax has officially listed its new mid-range smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD (EG 116). The phone is the successor to the Canvas Blaze which was launched in partnership with telecom service provider MTS in December last year.
The device comes with a 5 inch TFT IPS touchscreen with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
It is a dual-SIM (CDMA + GSM) smartphone that is powered by MSM8625Q qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It runs Android 4.1 with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. There is external card support for up to 32GB.
The phone offers a rear AF camera of 8MP resolution with flash and 2MP front FF camera. The rear camera or the primary camera can record 720p (HD) videos.
Connectivity options include EVDO, 2G (HSPA not supported), Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and Wi-Fi. The smartphone comes with a 2000 mAh battery that gives standby time of about 150 hours and talk-time of up to 5 hours.
