The smartphone comes with a 4.7 inche screen supporting resolution of 1280×720 pixels (312ppi). The Iris Pro 30 is using the Sharp OGS screen technology with content adaptive backlight control (CABC) and corning gorilla glass protection. The role of CABC is to adjust the backlight based on what's being displayed. The high pixel count results in sharp and crisp text, good colour reproduction and deep blacks. In addition, the phone offers pretty good sulight legibility and viewing angles.

Memory and Storage


The smartphone offers 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage (of which 2.43 GB is user available) plus micro SD card support of up to 32GB. With Iris Pro 30, Lava has given a miss to a higher internal memory and improved RAM which means that the phone is not a flagship.

Processing speed

It has 1.2GHz MT6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU – the same hardware which have seen in the Lava Iris 504q and Micromax A116 HD. The processing speed of the phone means that you get pretty smooth operation and you can even get Full HD video playback. Besides the standard Google apps and an office suite, the phone comes equipped with a Backup and Restore app and Lava Care, which directs you to the nearest service centre in your area.
