New Delhi: Homegrown handset maker Intext has launched two low-end phones in India, the Intex Cloud X1+ and Cloud Y11, at Rs 2990 and Rs 4490, respectively.
The Cloud X1+ comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA display on the front and has a 2MP camera on the back. It delivers GSM as well as Wi-Fi connectivity and no 3G support. It is a dual-SIM phone that is powered by a 1GHz processor. Supported networks include GSM and WiFi for internet connectivity. The device relies on a 1250mAh battery. The phone comes with pre-installed apps such as WhatsApp, Opera Mini and intex cloud. The company has adopted Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread for the device.
The company has also launched 3G network supporting Cloud Y11 dual-SIM mobile phone with 4-inch touchscreen display sporting 480x800 pixel resolution. The device packs a 256 MB RAM with 512 MB internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB. There is a 2 mega pixel rear camera as well as VGA front camera. The phone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and has a 1400 mAh battery. The company claims that at Rs 4,490, Cloud Y11 is the cheapest 3G device around.
