New Delhi: Taiwanese company HTC has launched its new mid-range smartphone, the Desire 316, in China. No details about global availability have yet been revealed.
The HTC Desire 316 comes with a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) display and runs an unspecified quad-core 1.2GHz processor under-the-hood paired with 512MB RAM. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box.
The device sports a 5-megapixel CMOS rear camera, alongside a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera.
The smartphone offers 4GB of inbuilt ROM, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include GPRS/EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity.
The device gets its juice from a 1950mAh battery. The device is listed in Black and White variants.
