New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Gionee has globally unveiled the mini-variant of the smartphone, dubbed Elife E7 Mini, priced at Rs. 18,999.

The Gionee Elife E7 Mini is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that comes with a 4.7-inch display offering 1280x720 pixel display.

The device is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and has 1GB RAM. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 13-megapixel camera which comes with rotating capabilities; something we already saw on Oppo N1 smartphone. The camera can be rotated around to act as both the front and the rear camera.

Regarding button allocation, the 3.5mm audio jack and the microUSB charging port are at the bottom. On the left you'll find the microSIM slot and on the right you have the power button and volume rocker. The speaker is located on the rear side towards the base.

The E7 Mini runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company's custom Amigo 2.0 UI layer on top, much like the elder sibling Gionee Elife E7.

The Gionee Elife E7 Mini will be available in two colour variants.

The Elife E7 Mini will be first released in India followed by other countries, which will give the smartphone the first mover advantage in India.
