New Delhi: Toyota Motors has unveiled the next generation Innova 'Crysta' at the on-going Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. The car will go on sale in India by the end of this year at an expected price of Rs 10-16 lakh.
Innova Crysta has been build by the new Toyota New Global Architecture which has been used for the SUV, Fortuner.
Innova Crysta features new headlamps, flared wheel arches, new tail lamps and a 17-inch alloys. The car is 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm wide and 1,795mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,750mm.
In the interiors, Innova Crysta has been given a dual tone finish with silver accents and leather upholstery. The MPV also offers climate control, voice command, Bluetooth connectivity and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes equipped with Miracast, DLNA and HDMI connectivity.
The Crysta will be offered with the choice of a 2.4-litre diesel engine, making 148PS of max power and 360Nm of peak torque, and a 2.0-litre VVT-i engine making 139PS of peak power and 189Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are offered with 6-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed auto box is also available as an option.
Toyota will offer the Innova Crysta in three variants, with seven airbags in the top of the line variant and three airbags as a standard feature across the line-up.
