German luxury carmaker Audi has launched a new version of its sports car Audi TT in India priced at Rs 60.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company believes the TT Coupé will appeal to consumers with its design, pronounced dynamics and technology. The Coupe will be imported as a CBU from Audi's Gyor facility in Hungary. It is based on the much revealed Volkswagen MQB platform (which TT shares with the Skoda, Octavia, Volkswagen, Passat and Audi A3).

The Coupe is 4.18 metres long with a wheelbase of 2.51 metres.

The new Audi TT sports an aggressive and sharp look on the outside, which is sure to make it a desirable car. the new TT retains that pronounced coupé silhouette, but now has much sharper lines. A lot of elements have been borrowed from the Audi Prologue concept.

The front fascia include the giant grille and angular LED headlamps. The rear has the tweaked bumper, LED tail-lights with dynamic turn indicators and dual exhausts.
On the inside, it features a new digital instrument cluster, called the Audi Virtual Cockpit. It replaces the MMI functionality over to a new-age digital instrument set, creating space on the dashboard.

A pleasure to drive, the futuristic interiors with brushed aluminium inlays, finely stitched leather sports seats, and the innovative Audi virtual cockpit truly embody the sportiness,” said Joe King, Head, Audi India, said here at the launch.

The 45 TSI variant is powered by the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and India gets the 230PS of power and 370Nm of Torque. The car is coupled with a 6-speed S Tronic transmission and all-wheel-drive system.

It's an all-wheel drive and working in combination with a six-speed S tronic transmission, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.

With the all-new Audi TT Coupe, the Audi designers have delivered a modern interpretation of the unmistakable lines of the original Audi TT enriched with numerous dynamic facets.
