Washington: Apple's latest iPhone 5S and 5C are reportedly topping the sales at major US carriers, an analyst has revealed.
Canaccord Genuity analyst T. Michael Walkley said that the latest iPhones have been among the top three sellers at all four major US carriers during the past three months.
He said that continued strong sales of the iPhone 5S has been seen, and it has been by far the top selling smartphone at all four tier-1 US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile , AllThingsD reports.
Walkley further pointed that their surveys also highlighted steady iPhone 5C sales with the smartphone's color options and more affordable price point proving popular with its intended audience.
According to the report, the tech giant' iPhone 5 was its sole Top 3 entrant at the big four carriers, prior to the launch of the latest models.
Walkley raised the first-quarter 2014 iPhone shipment estimate to 54 million units from 52 million citing strong sales and improved supplies of the 5S, the report added.
