New Delhi: With an eye on establishing itself in the fast growing Indian smartphone and tablet market, Taiwan-based AOC, which manufactures LED and LCD displays, has launched two 3G-enabled smartphones (M601 & E40) and a 3G calling tablet (D70V50G) priced under Rs 10,000.
E40 is an entry-level smartphone that features a 4-inch multi touch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is a dual-SIM device that is powered by by a 1.2GHz MTK6572 dual core processor and 512MB RAM. It offers 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera withLED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The device is fueled by a 1600 mAh battery and comes with standard features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB Port and FM Radio. The E40 is priced at Rs 4,490 and is available in 2 colour options — Black and White.
M601 is a premium handset that comes with a 6-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz MTK8312 Dual Core processor and 512MB of RAM. It features 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device gets its juice from a 2100 mAh battery. In addition, it has 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro USB Port. It is available in Black and Flamingo Red colour at a price tag of Rs 7,990.
AOC's flagship tablet – D70V50G comes with 7-inch capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It is a dual-SIM tablet that is powered by a 1.3GHz MTK8321 Dual Core processor. The tablet has 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), 1GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery and 2 megapixel rear camera along with a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Built-in GPS/ A-GPS with Google Maps, Micro USB Port and FM Radio. The D70V50G is priced at Rs 7,750 and is available in Black and Metallic Grey colour options. All the three devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
