New Delhi: Tata Motors have launched an upgraded version of their entry-level utility vehicle, the Sumo Gold with upgrades and features. The company says the new model offers better performance, improved ergonomics, re-tuned front and rear suspension, five new variants and four new colors.
The new Sumo Gold comes with a 3.0 Litre CR4 Turbo Diesel engine that makes 85ps and 249Nm of torque. The Tata Sumo Gold achieves an ARAI-certified figure of 15.3kmpl.
The new Tata Sumo Gold features new features such as a music system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, power windows, a new fabric design for the seats and an engine immobilizer. The new Sumo Gold also features a new roof mounted Air Conditioning unit-which has been a long missing feature in the Sumo family.
The model has been given a slightly redesigned grille, a new headlamp unit, integrated fog lamps and a new side graphic. The all-new Sumo Gold also features optional alloy wheels. Tata Claims to have softened up the suspension to offer a more comfortable and plusher ride thereby improving noise, vibrations and harshness levels.
