New Delhi: More than 120 firms from 20 countries would showcase their products and technologies at the three-day Intertraffic-India exhibition, scheduled to begin on October 3 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
The participating firms have expertise in traffic safety, Intelligent Transport System (ITS), traffic management development, road infrastructure, safety and parking systems.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Road Transport and Highways Minister, Oscar Fernandes.
The traffic safety expo is being jointly organised by the International Road Federation (IRF) and Amsterdam RAI for the second time in the country, IRF Chairman KK Kapila said in a release here.
Also, to be held along with the expo, the 8th IRF Regional Conference on “Road Infrastructure for Safe mobility” will feature the latest and most innovative road safety solutions from both local and international exhibitors.
About 500 road safety experts from across the world will take part in the global conference.
The expo will also help promote high-end technologies and modern road traffic safety devices, traffic control and driver and passenger safety systems, Kapila added.
