New Delhi: This might be shocking for all iPhone fans who have always looked up to the inventor of the revolutionary iPhone, Steve Jobs.

However, House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California has claimed that the iPhone was not created by tech giant Apple or its former chief executive officer, Steve Jobs. On the contrary, as per Pelosi’s claims, it was the federal government that came up with the iPhone.

During her speech at the Democratic National Convention Platform hearing in Washington, D.C, Pelosi asked the audience, “Anybody here have a smartphone?”

He held up her iPhone and said, “In this smartphone, almost everything came from federal investments in research.”

Pelosi said during her speech that the GPS technology, special alloys and other government-funded research projects were enough to believe that the federal government was the real inventor of the iPhone.

“They say Steve Jobs did a good idea designing it and putting it together. Federal research invented it,” Pelosi added.

This is not the first time that someone else claimed for the idea of iPhone.

Apple’s chief industrial designer Jonathan Ive had also claimed that Jobs stole his ideas. In the popular biography of Steve Jobs, Walter Isaacson portrayed Ive as an artist with a “sensitive temperament.”

Can be possibly! But the father of entrepreneurship had a different perspective and he said that great ideas are free and what actually matters is what you do with those ideas.
