New Delhi: LG India today announced that it will launch its next smartphone ‘X Screen’ on July 18. The smartphone was first unveiled in February this year.
The LG X Screen comes with an additional display, which is basically an ‘Always On’ display. Besides the primary 4.93-inch display, there is also a 1.76-inch secondary screen located near the earpiece on the front. This display will let users check time, date, battery status and notifications without having to turning on the phone.
You can also customize it to display your name, motto and any personal message that will appear all the time.

The smartphone features a 4.93-inch HD display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
It will also come with a 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The device is backed by a 2,300mAh battery.
In terms of photography, the X Screen comes with 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera up front. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow.
The X Screen smartphone has earlier gone for sale in select countries and is available at $290 (Rs. 20,000 approx.)
