Jaguar Land Rover India lifted the veil off its all-new premium sedan 2016 Jaguar XF at a starting price of Rs 49.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) on Wednesday. The top-of-the-line variant is priced at Rs 62.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
While the deliveries for the new Jaguar XF will start from the end of September 2016, customers can book the car right now for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.
Moreover, for the first time in India, Jaguar has also launched a diesel variant of its car. The 2016 Jaguar XF will also come with JLR’s all-new Ingenium Diesel engine.
The new Jaguar XF will be available in India in a total of three variants – Pure, Prestige and Portfolio, in both petrol and diesel variants.
The diesel model develops a healthy 180PS power and 430NM of torque.
On the other hand, the petrol trim continues to use the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline motor that churns out 237 bhp and develops a peak torque of 340NM.
Contemporary interiors of the new Jaguar XF include high-quality leather, sunroof, configurable moon lighting, Meridian sound system and Jaguar’s ‘inControl’ touchscreen infotainment unit.
Apart from the interiors, Jaguar has also enhanced the external looks of the car. The new XF comes with new adaptive LED headlights featuring Jaguar’s signature ‘J’ blade Daytime Running Light.
Moreover, the company has redesigned the grille and front bumper and the car now comes with sleeker air intakes.
