New Delhi: Smartphone giant, Apple, has announced that the recently launched 4-inch iPhone SE will be up for sale in nearly 100 countries including India, starting this May.
The American multinational has also revealed the price of the iPhone SE in India. The 16GB storage model of the smartphone will be available for Rs 39,000. According to the company's India site listing, the 64GB iPhone SE will be priced at Rs 49,000.
While the company announced that the iPhone SE will be available for purchase in India starting early April, its distributors have already pointed to an April 8 availability of the smartphone in the country.
The device, as announced earlier, will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Grey colours.

The iPhone 6s (64GB) variant is currently available online for around Rs 60,000 while the 16GB model is available for Rs 42,000. In December last year, iPhone 6s was launched in India for Rs 62,000 and 72,000 for 16GB and 64GB models, respectively.
Few reports suggested that there are chances that iPhone SE price may go down in few weeks in India.

The iPhone SE has a 4-inch Retina Display with the latest iOS 9.3. It is powered by an A9 processor paired with M9 co-processor. The smartphone in terms of photography has a 12-megapixel iSight camera on the rear with True Tone Flash, 4K video and Live Photos support. It also has a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera. In terms of connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and NFC for Apple Pay support.
