New Delhi: Microsoft’s E3 presentation had a lot of big announcements which included one regarding the unveiling of a console, gaming vision for the future, new features for the Xbox One and more.
Microsoft confirmed a slimmer version of its gaming machine Xbox One will be launched in August.
Here are some more key announcements Microsoft made:
- Microsoft said the Xbox One S, the new console, will be 40 per cent smaller than the existing model, Xbox One, making it the smallest gaming machine Microsoft has produced. The new Xbox One S comes with a slightly redesigned controller, featuring textured grip, increased wireless range and Bluetooth support.
- The company also introduced new features for the Xbox one, which include Cortana, background music while you play and regional languages options for the Xbox One.
- Microsoft announced customised Xbox One controllers by Design Labs. The customising feature will let players to custom design every component and laser engraved text (like your Gamertag) on their controller.
- The company also announced another new console, Project Scorpio, which will offer virtual reality and 4K gaming. Microsoft also announced more than 6 TeraFLOPs of power. The Project Scorpio will be compatible with the original Xbox One and Xbox One S.
- Another feature that was announced was the Xbox Play Anywhere. This will allow consumers to buy Xbox One games and play it on the PC’s with Windows 10 as well as Xbox One.
- So all the gaming pro will love the list of new games that are to be added. To mention some of them - Forza Horizon 3, Gwent, Minecraft Realms, Tekken 7, Frank West, Halo Wars 2 and many more.
