The new Multistrada 1200 Enduro is built to be at ease on any type of terrain and is able to stand up to the stresses and strains of both off-road and on road riding. The 19’’ spoked front wheel and 17’’ rear, together with the 200 mm wheel travel ensure superior comfort on and off road. Featuring semi-active electronic front and rear Sachs suspension and a 30-litre fuel tank, the Multistrada 1200 Enduro is unstoppable on any terrain and has a range that can exceed 450 kilometres.
Ravi Avalur, Managing Director of Ducati India said: “In 2016, with the Multistrada 1200 & 1200 S we are already the leaders in the large sports touring motorcycle category. We felt this was the right time for us to introduce the Multistrada 1200 Enduro for adventure motorcycling enthusiasts. The motorcycle is a perfect combination of Enduro riding style, limitless comfort and is equipped with cutting edge Ducati technology. The bike is perfect for our riding conditions and we’re sure that it will be as successful.”
The engine of the Multistrada 1200 Enduro is the highly appreciated 160 Bhp Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) with Euro 4 homologation. Design wise, the elegant and sporty character of the Multistrada gets an all-terrain twist with the Enduro.
The Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes equipped with a Full-TFT display that displays the four riding modes - Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Replete with the latest technology, the 1200 Enduro features Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ride by Wire system, Ducati Wheelie Control and the semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution. The advanced electronics also detects jumps and automatically adjusts the suspension to provide a softer landing.
Cruise Control, Hands-Free ignition and back-lit handlebar switches greatly enhance the riding experience and comfort. The full LED lights Ducati Cornering Lights illuminate the road on corner entry. The motorcycle also features a Vehicle Hold Control system that holds the braking and assists uphill starts or when the bike is fully loaded.
Also, the Ducati Multimedia System lets riders connect their smartphones to the bike via Bluetooth and answer calls, listen to music, be informed of incoming text messages and record the ride data and share it on social networks.
With the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro riders get everything they need to travel a long distance - without ever having to stop.
