New Delhi: Apple’s launch event is just four days away, where it is expected to launch the much awaited 4-inch iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch iPad Pro and a new watch band for the Apple Watch.
New Delhi: Apple’s launch event is just four days away, where it is expected to launch the much awaited 4-inch iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch iPad Pro and a new watch band for the Apple Watch.
Ahead of the launch, a leaked photo of the Apple iPhone SE has been revealed on Weibo. The photo is of the iPhone SE packaging and confirms the ‘SE’ branding, NFC connectivity and 16GB base variant.
According to all the leaks and rumours iPhone SE is likely to feature a 4-inch Retina Display. The new 4-inch iPhone is expected to come with A9 chipset with M9 motion co-processor and support for always on ‘Hey Siri.’ The smartphone is believed to feature 1GB of RAM, 16GB and 64GB onboard storage options, and NFC connectivity to support Apple Pay.
In terms of camera the iPhone SE is rumoured to have a 12-MP rear camera with 4K video recording capabilities. It is also expected to have slightly curved glass like the iPhone 6, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Live Photos support, a slightly larger 1642 mAh battery. In terms of pricing it is likely to be between $399 and $499 (which roughly translates to Rs 26,700 and Rs 33,400).
India could be in the list of first wave of countries to get the new iPhone SE which is expected to go on sale in select markets from March 25.
