Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Rambali Singh Chandravanshi was disqualified from the Bihar Legislative Council on Tuesday. This comes days after he made statements against his own party as well as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Chandravanshi had described Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav as the "biggest opponents" of the extremely backward society. He had made these comments about Kumar and Yadav during a programme organised at a hotel located in Daudnagar in Aurangabad district. "I have taken the issue of reservation from streets to courts," Chandravanshi had said.
