The wait is over! Mahindra has launched its much-awaited MPV, Marazzo. Mahindra Marazzo MPV has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 9.99 lakh, going up to Rs. 13.90 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom).
The Marazzo is available in four variants and distinguishes itself as one of the few vehicles to get a body-on-frame architecture with a transverse-mounted engine that sends power to the front wheels. It is Mahindra's largest passenger vehicle yet, and features a completely new engine and platform. The unique combination, Mahindra says has been intended to offer the best of both worlds on the passenger vehicle.

Engine:
The Mahindra Marazzo has a transverse engine mounted horizontally across the width of the engine compartment which allows to have a bigger cabin for the passengers. The 4-cylinder engine is also designed to minimise noise and vibrations.

Shark Design
The design on Mahindra's new MPV is inspired from shark, which is evident in its grille, taillight and the shark fin antenna. The model also comes with projector lens headlamps with cornering function, LED fog lamps, LED DRLs, diamond-cut alloy wheels and more. The tall stance will make for ample of cabin space in the model.
Mahindra Marazzo offers clear and clutter-free design inside the cabin. It is equipped with a multi-function steering wheel, dual-pod instrument cluster, a piano black and beige finish, and the aircraft style handbrake.

The top variants will get premium beige leather upholstered seats and will be available in an option of 7- or 8-seats. Positioned as a premium offering, the Marazzo will be available with a host of features including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, auto climate control, Mahindra Telematics, Android Auto and more. The MPV also comes with roof mounted air-con vent system for more effective cooling, which is a segment first.

In first look, Mahindra Marazzo has received thumbs up from experts. Automotive expert Adil Darukhanawala says: 'Judging purely from stance, packaging, design and style, engineering tech specs and performance potential plus price I see this vehicle being the proverbial cat among the compact mini-MPV pigeons. Mahindra has a big winner on its hands!'
Marazzo has been globally engineered by Mahindra Automotive North America Detroit and Mahindra Research Valley Chennai for a smooth ride, agile handling, the quietest cabin, fastest cooling comfort and luxurious space, the company claimed on its Twitter handle.
