German carmaker BMW has launched the all-new 3 Series in the Indian market today. The new 3 Series will be codenamed G20 and will be based on the platform used in the 5 and 7 Series. BMW has been one of the most successful luxury car sellers in India in recent times.
In 2018 BMW saw its all time highest selling numbers in India. The company would want to retain the numbers by launching the latest edition of the 3 series which is also one of BMW's most popular cars in India.

All-new BMW 3 Series Launch: Engine classification
The all-new BMW 3 series will likely be sold in 3 engine options with both petrol and diesel variants. The engine capacity in the all-new BMW 3 Series is likely to be 2.0-litre in both petrol and diesel in the standard variant. The standard 2.0-litre diesel engine will produce 190 BHP while the 2.0-turbo-petrol engine under the hood of the 330i is likely to give out 258 BHP which is an increase of 6 BHP from the outgoing model.
