MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Campaign finance reports show new Kimberly-Clark lobbyist R.J. Pirlot and his wife gave Republican legislators more than $4,000 in late August.

Republicans announced last week they'll return for an extraordinary session in November to consider a $100 million tax incentive bill for Kimberly-Clark.

Pirlot registered to lobby for Kimberly-Clark Aug. 22. Between Aug. 15 and Aug. 31 Pirlot and his wife donated $4,250 to GOP legislators and legislative committees.

They gave $500 to Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, $250 to Senate President Roger Roth and $250 to Sen. Chris Kapenga, who has opposed the tax incentives bill.

Joanna Beilman-Dulin, liberal group One Wisconsin Now's research director, accused Pirlot of using money to open doors for Kimberly-Clark.

Pirlot didn't immediately reply to an email, nor did aides for Fitzgerald, Roth or Kapenga.
