PARIS (AP) — France winger Damian Penaud will miss the home test against Argentina on Saturday because of a right ankle injury.
The French Rugby Federation says the Clermont player won't be replaced in coach Jacques Brunel's squad.
After conceding a last-minute 29-26 loss to South Africa last weekend in Paris, the French play the Pumas in Lille.
Penaud was injured against the Springboks and had his ankle strapped to continue playing.
Brunel has many options to replace Penaud with the likes of Gael Fickou, Geoffrey Doumayrou, Benjamin Fall or Yoann Huget in his squad.
