Nominations for the 61th annual Grammy Awards will be announced on Friday, Dec. 7, instead of Wednesday, Dec. 5. The Recording Academy has changed the release date in light of former President George H.W. Bush's funeral and public viewing this week.
Nominations in some categories, most likely the big four (album, song and record of the year, along with best new artist), will be announced on "CBS This Morning" and Apple Music at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Nominations for all 84 categories will be announced at 8:45 a.m. Eastern on Grammy.com.
