A few days after Barack Obama's swearing-in as the first African American President of the United States of America in 2009, the world's most powerful man and his family were at Chicago to address the masses.

Obama addressed the crowd with a motivating speech but what he said before concluding it, left everyone in tears, including his children and TV Anchor Oprah Winfrey.

President Obama said to the crowd, “I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the past 16 years, the rock of our family, the love of my life, the nation's new First Lady, Michelle Obama”.

Then the young President threw his arms around his wife and whispered, “I love you”.

Michelle and Barack Obama have touched lives through their love. Skeptics who believe that love fades away with time or it exists only in the Disney world could just for once view the beautiful life that Michelle and Obama share.

Barack Hussein Obama met Michelle La Vaughn Robinson in the summer of 1988.

He was in Chicago at that time. Obama had just completed his first year of law at Harvard and had taken up a job at Sidley & Austin law firm.

Through his earnings, he hoped to return the student loan that he had taken for his studies.
