When love is true, eternity shows benevolence on you!
This is what exactly the case with this Indian couple who have been married for almost 90 years.
Karam Chand and wife Kartari tied the knot in December 1925 after meeting in India, when they were in their teenage.
Since then they have been living together happily in their home in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
The couple claims to be the World's oldest married couple with combined age of 211.
Moreover, they celebrate their birthdays on the same day.
On Sunday, Mr Chand turned 109 while Mrs Chand celebrated 102 on the same day with four generations of their family at their home.
Mrs. Chand says key to a happy marriage is getting along with each other.
'We know that being married for 86 years is a blessing, but equally we will be ready to go when it's time.
'It's all up to the will of God, but we really have lived a good life, she chirped.
Their son Paul Chand expressed great pleasure and proud on seeing his parents celebrate almost a century of married life.
“It has been a special day for my family and for us all to be able to come together like this. Relatives have flown in from India to be with us.”
'People are so impressed by my parents. They always ask me: "What do they eat? What are you feeding them and how do they stay so healthy?"
'My answer is that for the last 20 years we have given them a stress-free life.'
