Mumbai: Mumbai can now boast of an airport on par with the best in the world, from gardens and fountains to multilevel car parks.
Seven years after the first decision was taken to rebuild Mumbai's congested Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the state-of-the-art Terminal 2 today.
The cost of the T2 terminal at the time of proposal was Rs 7,452 crore, but it has now escalated to Rs 9,800 crore.
