After stepping down from the post of Congress president, Sonia Gandhi was seen enjoying vacations in Goa.
Sonia, who has been skipping vacations as Congress chief preferring to look at party work, was seen in a relaxed mood, freely interacting with tourists and even cycling during her stay at the south Goa resort. Some photos on social media also show smiling Sonia allowing tourists to take selfies with her.
If reports are to be believed, the Congress chairperson is staying in Goa's Leela Hotel. Sonia had reportedly visited the same hotel in Goa last year when pollution levels in Delhi had gone worse, reports said.
The Congress chairperson left Delhi on December 26 and is expected to be back in first week of January, reports added.
The development comes days after mother Sonia handed over the charge of party affairs to Rahul Gandhi.
