New Delhi: Child artist Vishesh Bansal, who plays young Karn in TV show “Suryaputra Karn”, says he wants to be like Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan with similar dancing and acting skills.
The 10-year-old also hopes to try his luck in Hollywood when he grows up.
“I want to be like Varun Dhawan. I like him a lot for his looks, personality and even his dancing style. As acting and dancing are my passion, I would also like to work in Hollywood films after growing up,” Vishesh told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
The young star, who has been a part of a bevy of serials like “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha”, “Beintehaa”, “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?”, “Buddha” and “Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev”, had to undergo rigorous training to bring conviction to the role in the Sony Entertainment Television show.
Vishesh calls the experience enriching.
“I had to learn horse riding, reciting mantras, cable walk, swimming and archery. All this was neither tough nor easy,” he said.
Despite being a part of mythological serials earlier, it was after a lot of auditions and mock shots that Vishesh got selected for the role.
Vishesh, who studies in the sixth standard, says he manages work alongside school with ease as he “studies after wrapping up in evening then takes notes in school”.
